I don't know if it is "normal". I only know that I too, got a blood blister from a fire ant bite. But I am 56 & take several medications for heart trouble.
They have a very indulging personality, any of the following can lure it's prey to him: He's looks , he's smell , etc. But he really don't need it, because he is faster and stronger than a normal human.
that's a confusing question no offence but if you mean by just biting someone to draw blood that would be like every where cuz your body is made up of blood that circulate all through your body so yea anywhere ...which why would you want to do that?
Well, spiders bite and then leave. Ticks don't bite, they bury their heads in your skin. Little more dangerous, I think so... Ticks also spread lyme disease, which is deadly.
