yes
I hate to differentiate from the above given answer, but visible tattoos are a big no no in all branches of the military. The Navy MIGHT go a little less hard on you, but I doubt it.
Most precincts will allow you to have tattoos, but they do shy away from people who are covered in them. Of course, there is nothing permitted that is gang related or racist in anyway, and they do not allow visible tattoos such as on the face, neck, or hands much like the military.
2 tattoos are fine, and if you like trees, theyre fine too! if youre of the age and maturity to get one, as long as theyre not visible [sleeved out or neck etc] then hardly anyone would notice or care.at this point, its the tattoo and its location that designates whether the wearer is a piece of poop or not, not that you have one or the amount.its comes down to class.
Yes if the tattoo artist is a good tattoo artist it is safe to get, but it is not safe for guaranteeing your job. Neck tattoos will really limit job opportunities. I'm a tattoo artist and I haven't taken that step yet because i don't know what my future may hold.
Short answer, yes, getting a needle covered with shoved into the skin of your neck thousands of time, a minute hurts. Slightly longer and more informative answer, probably not as much as you think. At least not if it is comparable to the tattoos i have, The back of the neck is mostly skin over muscle, and the nerve density doesn't seem too high, it should be comparable to back tattoos or my scalp tattoos.
Yes, they do. You may not have any tattoos below the cuff of the dress tunic example wrist, fingers, palm. And nothing above the dress shirt example neck, face, skull. You may not aquire any tattoos while in the military. The tattoos may have nothing profain or content that could be taken as profain on them.
None below the wrists, above the neck and possibly none below the knees
if they are not visible then yes, hopefully not high up on your neck!!
No. Nothing that shows beyond the uniform edges- neck, wrists, hands, feet, you get the idea... is allowed. If it doesn't show when in uniform, you're fine.

Most agencies will still hire recruits with visible tattoos on their lower arms, if the tattoos are not offensive. However, some agencies are moving toward a "no visible tattoos" policy and will not hire recruits with tattoos that will show when wearing a short-sleeved uniform.
Short answer yes. However because it is visible while in uniform you will need to have your recruiter approve it. As with all tattoos it will need to be free of obscene and vulgar images or racist or inappropriate words.
Well, I am a LCDR (24 yrs in) and I have TWO upper arm tattoos! ------------------------------------------------- I'm a midshipman getting a tattoo shortly and I had the same question, because although my tattoo design means alot to me, I don't want to lose my commission over it. I had alot of trouble finding current Navy regulations for tattoos, but I think I found enough. Content, size, and location are the main factors. -You cannot get a tattoo anywhere on the head. -You cannot get a tattoo on your neck or upper chest if it is visible when wearing a T-shirt or a uniform shirt that exposes a V-neck collar. -You cannot get a tattoo that, if visible either on the arms or legs, that is larger then your hand, fingers and thumb together. -You cannot get any tattoo that is offensive or discrediting to the Navy or the US. These are the regulations I have found, and they are also backed up by the "application for commissioning". You don't need a waiver if you can answer no to all of the questions on the application, so just run through there and see. I've also heard that as long as the tattoo is of good taste and not on the neck or head, waivers are often granted for size.
not where i live
Lil Durk has multiple tattoos, including some on his neck. The one on his neck says 'Blessed". He appears to like the tattoo lifestyle and wrote a song about tattoos.
most of the tattoos are hers but the spiderweb on her neck and cross on her back are fake.
It' the Chinese sign for love.
