You need a new battery.
I'm sorry if this sounds silly, but did you put the battery in backwards?
Most likely cause is a corroded set of battery connections. remove, clean and re-install.
Sounds like your battery was weak to start with. What you did should not have caused any problems if your battery was in good condition so without seeing it, I think you should remove your battery and have your battery charged and load tested.
I just had the very same thing happen to me yesterday. My truck had been making that noise for about 2 weeks and then yesterday I went to start my truck and it died on me. My husband put in a new battery and it started right back up! It's alive!! If it is not your battery then it could aslo be your starter, but have your battery checked first. I hope that this helped:)
I did have the same problem but found that after inserting the key into ignition I deed to wait +/- 3 seconds and I can hear the start relay (on the relay pannel) click in. If I do not hear this relay click in the car just does not start (No spark from the electronic coil to the distributor).
Check your battery terminals, when it has enough power to run the starter, then suddenly not its probably a loose or corroded battery connection.
Yes you can, I played my radio until the battery went dead. I got someone to come give me a boost and it jumped right off.
I put in a new battery which went dead after a few hours of riding. The bike started when jumped and ran OK except the speedometer didn't work and the lights were dim. If you jumped it from a car you likely destroyed your stator.
My battery start going weak and went completely dead, now I excange batteries and the car went to a security mode and wont start back, as soon as I open the doors the hazard lights go on and the car wont start, is any procedure to be done thanks Juan
replace the battery
check your battery connectins. you could have a bad ground
You need a new battery or a new alternator.
Open the hood, remove the battery cover, you will see the battery terminals. Connect Red to Positive and Black to Negative on each car.
You do not have to reset the fuel pump just because the battery went dead.
no but at first i could until i turned it over so much that the battery went really dead
If it was your car that has been "jumped" then the energy went from your "friends" battery to yours. Your friends battery lost some charge, whilst yours gained some charge. Once the cables were detached - no energy was transferred. No, as long as you do not have the blower motor running.
I had the same thing happen. The battery cable came off the battery in my case, loose connection.
