To my knowledge, yes, they do. All cameras that I've seen have the hole at the bottom that you screw onto the tripod, so I think all cameras can be used on a tripod (well, definitely all modern cameras).
Most consumer cameras are 1/4 x 20 threads. Be careful of the length, too long and it can damage some cameras.
A one legged support for a camera is called a monopod or a unipod. Such supports are used by photographers that need to stabilize their cameras but do not need or want to carry a full sized tripod.
If you mean a stand used for steadying the camera while taking pictures, then it's called a tripod.
Most tripods use a 1/4"-20 screw, which is a standard size for attaching cameras and other equipment. Some heavier-duty tripods may also feature a 3/8"-16 screw for added stability. Always check the specifications of your tripod and equipment to ensure compatibility.

Camera tripods almost all have a 1/4" thread that will mate with almost all cameras. Some of the very smallest cameras may not have a tripod bush at all while some of the larger commercial cameras may have a 3/8" thread. Larger tripods are also likely to have 3/8" screws to handle the larger cameras. Some tripods need an adapter plate to connect to a camera but these models are rare.
Tripod is a platform on which cameras can be mounted while you are capturing pictures and shooting videos. Tripod is used to support cameras, camcorders, video cameras, etc. in order to avoid camera shakes or movements. Tripods provide stability to shoots so that the photographer/cinematographers who are using the tripod don't need to worry about the undesirable camera shakes. With the help of tripod, you can take stable and precise shots without any compromises. The height of the tripod is fully adjustable so that you can take shots at every angle. And most importantly they are quite easy to carry.
