Yes it can, I have done exactly that to make small parts for model projects many times. -To get perfect resolution, use a silicon called RTV.
No, it will weaken the resin.
Resin clay is clay that is resin-like. It tends to have resin-like features once dry and comes in a clay form. It comes in several brands, all of them in clay form, and all dry to a resin finish.
To set an orchid in resin, first it must be completely dried by using silica powder. Then, it is coated in spray resin to hold its shape before being cast in a mold filled with resin.
Gum or Resin is like the sap that comes from trees and other plants
yes the resin will cause it to yellow
Fibreglass resin is a polyester.
No, it will weaken the resin.
Fibreglass resin.
Fibreglass is a mat of glass fibres used in surfboard or boat construction. The mats come in several thicknesses. When combined with a thick liquid called resin the fibreglass / resin combination produces a hard surfaced coating that is light weight but strong.

It is most probably Boy (2000), fibreglass, resin, silicone - a 5-metre-tall sculpture of a boy, crouching. It is now owned by the art museum ARoS in the city of Aarhus, Denmark, who use it as a trademark piece.
No, it is not an injuction moulded plastic item. it is manufactured by using wet lay up or hand lay up moulding process
A. Abu Bakar has written: 'Resin transfer moulded composites made from textile preforms'
To make the board waterproof and to provide strength to the PU foam, four or six ounce fibreglass composites are laid on the blank which are then set in polyester resin. Before laying the fibreglass, decals(surfboard shaper logos) can be placed on the board. Usually the bottom of the surfboard is covered with one layer of fibreglass and then covered with resin first, and when dry the same procedure can be done to the deck of the surfboard. Two layers of fibreglass can be placed put on the deck for a stronger surfboard. If you want to cut down on weight, instead of placing two layers you can also just place an extra layer on the tail, nose and rails as these should have in little more protection.
Resin is a liquid plastic but can be brittle if unstrengthened, using fibreglass sheeting within the resin will add strength and durability so in answer to the question: Use both. If you need a step by step tutorial just google "using resin on pepakura" to find loads of tutorials with video's and pictures to help you through.
Clear Resin is a type of fibreglass, that is strong and can be used to cover things and/or to make things in the art and design world. It is of clear water polyester that can be used to encase things such as insects and flowers, making it a decorative gift.
