yes it does!! Virginia does have earthquakes!! if you are reading this on 8/23/11 well you should know there was an earthquake in virginia. i felt the earthquake it shook my whole house! in fact it shoook new york! and a lot of other states like atlanta. its on the CNN news right now. they said it was a 5.8 earthquake..... wow... and i was about to go to a vacation in virginia.....

no ther wasnt an earthquake that i know of in jersey city but there was an aftershock from an earthquake from virginia felt in jersey city. the aftershock was in august 2011 but not sure what date. i think it was the 28. i know this because i actually felt it :)
