yes you can, but if you make it without transfer paper, you need a special iron-on transfer pencil. :)
i think so
You can print on this paper with your printer, then iron it on your shirt. Just be sure your printer knows its an iron-on, because it will print backwards so when it's ironed on it will be forwards.
Mylar vs. TransferMylar is not a paper. It is more closely related to acetate. Although you can buy different gauges of acetate, generally mylar is heavier and used for a multitude of things. Tranfer paper, on the otherhand, is used to accept an image through a copying or printing technique using special inks for adhesion. The printed side is a mirrored image of the original art. When it is applied to the receiving element (like a t-shirt) the image is transferred in its' original appearance.Do you remember the little houses at Christmas time with the lights inside and the shiny paper used as windows? That's what mylar is like. transfer paper has a rough kind of surface & comes in a multitude of colors to transfer a design onto a surface for say, to paint or do needlepoint. You can get transfer paper at Michaels or Joann fabrics.
Once you have ironed the transfer it IS NOT possible to remove it.Firstly you must cover the transfer with a normal piece of a4 (or larger depending on the size) paper and reverse the material... you then iron onto the back of the shirt (assuming the transfer is on the chest) for about 1:30 min, or until you are sure that the transfer is extremely hot... at this point you can reverse the shirt and peel off the paper... the transfer should peel off with it.Now if you wish to remove the residue glue, run the shirt through a wash with some nappy san..Happy Ironing!
Glossy paper is not what is used to make a iron on decal for a shirt. To make a decal purchase specialty iron on paper at most craft or stores that sell computer paper.
Either you can go to a artist/graphic designer and they will give you a design or if you have an artist in your youth group they could draw up a design that has a speacial meaning to the group. Then you can scan that image into photoshop and send it to company who does shirt printing.

One can print their own design on a shirt using a website specializing in custom shirts, such as TheTeeFactory or CustomInk. Another option is to print the design on inkjet transfer paper, available at office supply stores, and iron it onto a shirt.
Avery makes transfer sheets that are printable using your regular inkjet printer. You print the design that you want on the shirt and then iron it onto the shirt. They work well, but aren't quite as durable as a manufactured shirt design; you especially need to be careful when drying them.
You can find it in supermarket.
Go to a craft store and buy photo transfer paper. You can make a design on your computer using WordArt, clipart, photos, drawing, or whatever programs you have. The instructions for the paper tell you how to print them. If you have a laser printer, this won't work however because the heat from the printer can affect the printing quality. Once you design and print your idea, all it takes is a couple minutes of ironing the image to your t-shirt, and you have a unique shirt! These can go in the wash and are neat ways to make homemade shirt look store-bought.
If the transfer paper isn't made for laser printers, then the laser printer melts the paper. You can do major damage to your printer.
I am going to transfer this design onto that shirt with a decal. I'm going to transfer onto another bus in two more stops.
Buy a white T-shirt Buy the special printing paper for ironing on a picture Print a picture (MIRROR IMAGE !!) on to the special paper Iron paper on to shirt (LEAVE CORNER OF PAGE LOOSE) Peel off the paper using loose corner. Picture remains on shirt and can be washed as normal.
Lay a piece of a paper grocery bag on your ironing board. Then lay the shirt over the paper bag and lay another piece of paper bag on top of the shirt. The iron can be set on a fairly high temperature. Set it on the bag, that is over the spot you want to remove. The heat from the iron should warm up the butter and transfer it to the paper bag. You may need to move the paper bag several times to transfer the butter from the shirt to the paper bag. This also works quite well with removing wax from places you don't want it as well.
