I would say no, not unless it has a handle or something, even then i am not sure.
You have to have a battery with just a little bit of juice in it to roll start a manual transmission car. Just enough to fire the spark plugs and that takes very little. Only manual transmissions can be roll started not automatics.
Yes, but know that your alternator will not be working so you can only drive until the battery goes dead. Also know that the car will be extremely hard to steer as the P/S will not be working. And if the water pump is driven by that belt the engine will overheat very quickly. All in all this is a horrible idea.
If your starter is dead you can start it with a set of jumper cables. You have to hook them up to car that is running and it needs a starter, so at the end of the day you used a starter even if it wasn't on your car.
Yes, you can start a car without a starter. The easiest way to by push starting it if it's a manual transmission.
No, the ignition is what starts the car.
Yes.
the most likely cause would be an improperly tensioned serpentine belt
fuel pump, timing belt, air intake (sensor), fuse, distributor...
Yes, even some new cars have this problem. Most cases its from a worn belt or the belt tensioner
Defective alternator or broken alternator belt.
the belts need to be tighten at the certain point. Therefore, you need to find the belt tensioner to a adjust the loose belt. The reason is when the belt slips on the pulley, it will makes the sqeaky sound. Goodluck to locate the belt tensioner to adjust it.
No, it will not.
The belt could be damp, loose or slipping.
No only if it's a broken cam belt
Worn serpentine belt and/or belt tensioner.
That would be a good thing because putting the belt on after you start the car would be dangerous.
Car Doesnt Start
yes
Bad missfire and if ur car is hard to start then its a stretched timing belt.
1) Get in the car 2) Start the car 3) Put your seat belt on Works EVERY time
sounds like your pully tensioner might be bad, throwing the belt... which runs your alternator, which might be why the car wont start.
If you can drive the car, the timing belt isn't broken. An engine will not start or run with a broken cam belt.
The first hint that a timing belt is broken is that the car will turn but will not start. Beyond that you should rplace the timng belt every 100k miles,to avoid it breaking.
