Well, without getting too preachy about why you should NOT do this. The toothbrush unto itself is fine to use, assuming of course that you have the good sense to place protective barrier film over it to eliminate the chance of cross contamination and NEVER EVER reuse needles…but it has a really cheap motor that barely pushes ink in the skin so it's worth its weight in trash as far as any self respecting person with an eye for art is concerned. If you are gung ho to start tattooing, look on eBay. There you can buy an entire low-grade professional tattoo kit for under $200, or buy a real tattoo machine. They range from $10.00 into the hundreds on the site. So in summation...leave the toothbrush for your teeth.
Almost any tattoo shop will draw up a design for you and make a stencil. Some artists will draw the tattoo design on with a pen instead. You as a client don't need to provide a stencil.
