I'm researching this at the moment as I just had mine in to fix the radio, apparently there's one easy to find one, I believe above the pedals (you need to move the drivers seat back to get to it) and apparently one between the glovebox and the dashboard.
Check your fuses, if its not a fuse go to the dealer and see if they are nice enough to print you a wiring diagram and a ground location diagram, and find out what ground came loose.
I have the same car- I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the fuse diagram. The fuse panel is located inside the glove box to the left. Each fuse location is clearly identified for tail lights, wipers, etc. The only one that appears to be missing is the fuse receptacle for the blower fan ( even though it is indicated in writing on the panel). You might have to order a trouble shooting guide for your make or model or just call a dealer's part Dept. and ask them. Good luck.
it is fuse number one in the interior fuse panel. it is a 15 amp fuse. should be located in the lower right corner of the fuse panel. the fuse panel itself is located under the left hand side of the instrument panel
You can get a 2004 Mercedes-Benz fuse panel diagram at most Mercedes-Benz dealerships. You can also get the diagram from Mercedes-Benz service manuals.
