There is some evidence(Letters from amelia) by Jean Backus, that she had a bout with Pleurisy in the ealry twenties. Obviysly peole do not brag about illnesses or potential handicapping situations. There is a lot of interesting material in this book that is not very well documented, lilke an accident-rescue sequence that involved Earhart and another aviatrix, possibly Louise Thaden- I have fialed to substantiate that one, which cetainly would have made the papers.
In Canada at Toronto Hospital.
The Boer war happened when she was a baby.
She worked as a nurse's aide for world war one and some other jobs that I don't know. Sry:(
Yes actually it estimated that she was an army nurse from 1917-19 (because soldiers were still piling in from battlefields after the war ended in 1918)
Amelia Earhart attended Vassar College briefly in 1917, but she was not known as an outstanding academic student there. What historians generally agree on is: She was more interested in sports, physical activity, and independence than formal academics. Her grades were average, not exceptional. She left Vassar after about a year to work as a nurse’s aide during World War I, which ended her studies there. So, while Amelia Earhart was curious, adventurous, and driven, she was not particularly distinguished as a student at Vassar College. Her later achievements came from her determination and passion for aviation see more ln.run/9ZHqe

They possibly could have, but it is very difficult to know for sure, because as you know Amelia Earhart disappeared and we saw Eleanor age slowly during World War II. Hope that helps
Yes, Amelia Earhart disappeared while on a round-the-world flight. No---it was just prior to WW2. The Japanese were trying to expand and take outer territory but they did not want any publicity. Some say the Japanese had something to do with her disappearance.

Amelia was dead by the time WW2 happened. -However she was a trainee Nurse Aide in a Toronto hospital in 1918. This may be what you were thinking about, but that was WW1.
First of all it is Amelia Earhart. Her last flight was in the Pacific Ocean, Pacific Theatre of Operations- as it was called in World War II. This is on the other side of the world from the Bermuda Triangle!
