Did children benefit from the Nazi rule?

Depends which children. Jewish children whose parents had been put out of work and struggled to feed them did not benefit. But the German children did, they had more activities and were part of a prosperous community.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Nazi Rule

Advantages

• Hitler made the German people feel proud of their nation again with a strong, totalitarian government and a strong leader, which would oppose the Treaty of Versailles.

• Hitler also reduced unemployment from 6 million when he came to power in 1933 to 300,000 men in 1939. (Although this was achieved by kicking out the Jews after the "Night of Broken Glass" and replacing them with Germans, kicking women out of their jobs and replacing them with men, - not included in unemployment figures - conscription being introduced for ALL men and then they had to do public service projects otherwise they probably would have died as they had no income.)

• Workers went on holiday for the first time being able to travel abroad with the Strength through Joy project which made cruises, holidays and adventure holidays cheap so the working class could be afford them.

• Germans had more confidence in their country and economy after Hitler created an industry from the conscription service and made his country self sufficient after the 1929 Wall Street crash, but the Nazi's had to make conscription compulsory for every male and they would most likely have died in the war; including the soldiers who came from Hitler Youth camps.

• Farmers had value, as they would be the new race in the East when Hitler took control of Russia.

Disadvantages

• People felt they were being controlled by the Nazi's for example if they told a joke about Hitler they would be executed and children would send their parents to Concentration Camps if they were anti-Nazi as they were brainwashed.

• Children were brainwashed into believing that the Nazi way was the right way even if it was against their parent's wishes. Teachers who didn't agree with Nazi policy or weren't Nazi approved teacher's were fired and Pro-Nazi teachers were brought in.

• Minorities were attacked and murdered or used in experiments such as 'Finding the best way to kill someone'.

• People had their freedom stripped from them such as the Trade Unions and organisations like the KDF controlled the workforces and could stop them from doing anything for example leaving their jobs for better pay or striking for better pay and conditions.

It is apparent that some people benefited from Nazi rule for example Aryan look-alikes or people who supported the Nazi's but on a whole the atrocity of the events which were created by the Nazi's such as the genocide of the Jews and the freedom, which was taken from the workers and thus I believe the Nazi rule and aftermath of the Third Reich was a disadvantage to the German people. and even killied children...ouch!
