This is my opinion (mind you I'm just 13 and I haven't got tattoos or body art or anything). I haven't got any definite opinion, but then the question is just to discuss, so I'll present a few ideas. Maybe people decorate their bodies to make them more exciting. Maybe they're unhappy with their bodies, they think they're too fat or too thin, and want to make their bodies more appealing. Maybe it's just to have fun, have a laugh, that kind of thing. Maybe it's to mark their bodies with something that means a lot to them, to symolize how important it is to them. Like the initials of people they love, family members, friends that have died etc. Just some ideas. Make what you will of them.
