It probably won't kill them per se, but it doesn't help them, either. Chemical fertilizers feed the plant; organic materials feed the soil, which feed the plant.
Chemical fertilizers don't do much for the soil microbes, either. Organically, the microbes break down things like manures and organic materials into a form the plants can use as they need them. Chemical fertilizers sort of force-feed the plants.
In the big picture, chemicals have been heavily used in U.S. agriculture for close to 70 years. Most of those soils are totally dead. They have no real organic material left in them, they are nothing but sand or clay, just something for chemically-produced plant roots to cling to, to keep from falling over. In Asia, fields were treated organically for thousands of years. In America, our farms last about 40 years. Much of our topsoil is now in the oceans.
A little or a lot? All or nothing? The choice is yours.

For blue/pink stains on concrete, use a 25% solution of bleach (1/4 cup bleach with 3/4 cup water). Pour on stain, cover with kitty litter, wet litter with more solution. For lighter stains, allow to sit 15 minutes or so; for tough stains, leave overnight. Bleach may be harmful to plants growing near the treated area. Use Caution!
