Generally speaking you should not suffer any pain or side effects from having a CT scan. However in some cases you may feel a slight dull ache, if the symptoms persist after 7 days consult your GP.

Sometimes, kidney-related or pancreas pain can be felt in the back as well; if your symptoms do not improve or are not related to your back, you may need to be seen by an internist who can run some tests and possibly a CT scan to ensure nothing else is going on. In general, many people with chronic back pain benefit from regular massage and yoga.
