yes it does. but he was wrong as God forbids the eating of pork and no man is above him...
whoever said that the New Testament says that you can eat pork can you please tell me in what book/chapter/verse you found this on.
Another Answer:
The New Testament doesn't contain the statement, "You can eat pork." However, it does teach that all distinctions between "clean" and "unclean" foods were done away with. Some pertinent references:
Mark 7:18, 19 - So He [Jesus] said to them, "Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?"
Also see the account of Peter's vision in Acts 10:9-16, noting what he was told in verse 15: "What God has cleansed you must not call common."
And in 1 Timothy 4:1-3, Paul refers to the requirement to "abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth" as a "doctrine of demons," then writes in verse 4 and 5: For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Another View:
In Acts 10 (the most common scripture used as an excuse to eat pork) Peter travels to meet Cornelius. On his way he stops on a housetop to pray. He became very hungry and would have eaten but fell into a trance. He sees a vision of all sorts of animals and wild beasts creepy crawlies, etc. God tells him "Rise, Peter, kill, and eat" Peter says he has never eaten anything common or unclean. God basically gives permission to eat food of the gentiles "common". (What God has cleansed, that call not thou common) God never made reference in this passage to Peter's statement of unclean (which would be pigs and other animals with split hooves)... He never said He blessed unclean. He blessed common. Also, it goes on around verse 28 to say that it was unlawful for a Jew to keep company or come unto one of another nation and the vision was God's way of showing Peter that he should not call any man common or unclean. It was in reference to Peter being a Jew and his travels and company in the land of the gentiles. The vision had absolutely nothing to do with pork. Sorry to disappoint.
As a sinless man and an observant Jew, Jesus would have obeyed the Law in Exodus 12 to keep the Passover which required eating lamb. Most likely He ate just as every other Jew (dietary laws - no pork or shellfish, etc) did during His entire lifetime like fish too:
Luke 22:14-15New King James Version (NKJV) Jesus Institutes the Lord's Supper14 When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. 15 Then He said to them, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;Luke_24:42-43">Luke 24:42-43New King James Version (NKJV)42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. 43 And He took it and ate in their presence.
The way Jesus spent his nights is unknown. The bible does not say anything about Jesus' nights but there is one time when a person namedNicodemus came to Jesus by night and asked him, "what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" It is a probability that Jesus spent his nights sleeping.
—Salvation is gained by faith alone —Jesus is the head of the church —The Bible is the sole source of religious truth —Only God can forgive sins —The Bible should be in English (not Latin)

The Bible doesn't say He did. Jesus had at other times revealed who He was to the disciples: Matthew 16:15,16 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." but still they did not really understand. This verse from John is during the Last Supper John 14:9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? I think the disciples did not fully understand who Jesus was until after His ressurrection
This is actually a fascinating question. It's hard to say exactly what Jesus may have eaten, but if you look at the typical diet in the 1st century, you can get a pretty good idea. Breakfast would have been a light meal perhaps of bread and cheese.
That requirement is not in the Bible.
It's not in the Bible, it's a Chinese proverb.
The bible does not say anything about dreaming for Jesus.
77 is it?
The same reason the Bible says all the other absurd things - it is wrong.
You can't eat meat on Good Friday, but you only eat fish instead. But some say This is the kind of nonsense that makes Protestants laugh at Catholics. The Bible CLEARLY says that we are free to fast or not fast, eat meat or not eat meat, as we please. IT CLEARLY says that these kinds of "religious practices" are worthless and that God sees "good works" as nothing but "filthy rags." Follow Jesus. Give Him your heart. That's all that counts. These kinds of questions reflect the kind of dead useless "religiosity" that Jesus came to ABOLISH!
ANSWER:The Bible doesn't frankly say, But in verse 36 it Says in The King James Bible 1611 that "And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him.And he (referring to Jesus Christ, GOD's Son) went in to the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat." Because the word meat means steak, chicken, roast, turkey, one of those, I'm guessing that's what they ate. Meat. Because in the Bible, That is what it said "....sat down to meat." Strange grammar and wording but, I'm pretty sure they ate Meat. Which may or may not be true because a Jew, which Jesus was a Jew, was NOT able to eat meat, flesh of an animal of at any time-Just Jewish customs, Maybe the Pharisee was trying to trip Jesus up so they can say something bad about him, Yet Jesus being GOD's SON and Knowing all in all those times the Pharisees tried to Trip HIM up, Jesus knew and always made them fail in their ridiculous tactics... Trying to Trip up the one who Knows all, For funny!~

To say 'I have to eat meat' in Spanish, you would say 'Tengo que comer carne.'
The Bible doesn't say whether or not Jesus had a dog.
