All surgery is a risk especially due to the anesthetic. Complications can arise so it's important that if you are sure you want plastic surgery you interview several plastic surgeons or ask friends who they would recommend. Don't try to save money on plastic surgery because you generally get what you can pay for. If the plastic surgeon is a good one they will tell you about the risks. Sometimes infection can be involved, but there have been Horror stories of especially women getting plastic surgery done on their face and breasts only to end badly disfigured. Do your homework first.

The colour of red blood cells does change depending on how oxygenated it is, so, it can be supposed that since oxygen is mainly carried to muscles rather than back, blood will change colour depending on where it is in the circulatory system.
