The front seal of the tranny needs replaced, the tranny will have to come out to replace it.
What vehicle? (It is possible that if the transmission is conventionally controlled that there is a cable that connects throttle body to tranny and aids tranny to downshift under heavy acceleration.)
You should be able to adjust the linkage on the tranny, any repair shop should be able to do this at a reasonable rate,or buy a Chilton repair manual,and do it yourself.Good luck ,toro2.

try checking the leval of your tranny fluid and add some if needed or might be bands or kick down cable or rod or the sensor or you can take a quirt of tranny fluid out and put tranny honey in from a part store or like mijer or walmart

I'm answering my own question here. I put the 1995 tranny on the 1996 and it works just fine. I just had to put an electronic piece from the 1996 tranny onto the 1995 tranny in order to get the wiring to work. Easy...and the car runs perfect on the 1995 tranny.
