The only time you can repair a head gasket is when coolant is going out the exaust. If the radiator is being pressurized it will not work. If coolant is getting into the oil it may work also but could cause bearings to fail in the process. One of several products depending on where you are at, generic name of liquid glass. Comes in either a can or bottle. In the bottle you can see it separated out, clear liquid on top and copper flakes on the bottom. I have never had it fail as long as the coolant is going out the exaust.
