If you don't have the owners manual for your vehicle which would tell you, just add oil until it reads full on the dipstick. Don't forget to run the engine to fill the oil filter then check it again after a few minutes. Record the amount you put in so you won't have to repeat the proccess again.

Well, basically the engine will have no lubrication and the pistons and rods will freeze in place, called seizing, and the entire engine will be a paperweight for the rest of eternity. Hope that answers your question!

If I changed the oil and spark plugs on my 2003 Stratus now the car won't start and when I try to the oil light comes on the the horn won't stop blowing what is causing this?

Changing the oil wont keep the car from starting. Changine the plugs will if you didn't put the wires back on in the proper location. The oil light will come on until the car starts and allows the oil pump to fill the filter and circulate the oil. Once started, the light should go out.

How can you find what vehicles a certain oil filter fits?

Go to your local car store and look in the section where they have oil filters. They should have a book where you can look up your car model and match it with the type of oil filter you should put on your car. If they do not have a book in the open for customers to look up themselves, just locate the nearest employee and ask them for help.

How do you change a oil pan gasket on 1998 GS400 Lexus and how much would it be?

Do it yourself its easy. Put the front of your car on some car ramps, drain the oil, and take the whole pain off, take all the screws out and out comes the pain. Clean it with some kind of cleaner, for example carbuerator cleaner, where the gasket goes, let it dry and install the new gasket.
