you need to email me directly, i bet i can help fix it, probably had the same problem on my 76 360. mazurlaser@aol.com
Is the motor the same? Do they both have A/C or no A/C?
battery cables could be corroded, check distributor , spark plugs, ignition wires from switch. try jumping the solenoid if it tries to crank the ignition switch may be out. if it's cranking and not starting also check your fuel lines make sure they are nor clogged if dual tanks check tank switch under driver side. may not be getting fuel if crb float is stuck as well. if it was dual tank and one tank removed make sure switch is on the right tank.

I have a 1974 Chevy truck with the 350 V8 and the engine is in good shape. At idle the oil pressure is 35-40 PSI, at driving speed it goes up to about 50 PSI. Hope this helps.
I am not a Ford man but motor mounts for a 351W engine may be what you want.
