www.yotatech.com. Search 22re timing chain, there are many step by steps. Quite a few steps, but it can be done in a day or two second time round. First time, maybe allow a full weekend, doing nothing else.

remove the battery cable, take the number one plug out and make sure it is on top dead center and check your timing marks to make sure that you are not 180 degrees out, then remove the timing chain or belt cover and and look to make sure the timing marks are where they are suspose to be, if not replace the gears chain/belt with new parts but be careful not to move the cam or crank out any

This is big task to take on. It is important that you have appropriate tools and parts to accomplish this. There are a lot of things you need to take out to get to the timing belt like splash guard, the radiator, and the air intake tube on the valve cover. The timing belt is on the camshaft pulleys and the crankshaft, which is near the crank position sensor. Loosen the nuts to remove the timing belt. Reverse the procedure to complete everything.

The question you ask is too involved for a proper answer. You may want to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.

How do you replace the exhaust manifolds for the 1995 Nissan V6 Pathfinder on both sides and is this something that can be done by someone handy?

I have a 1996 pathfinder and the exhaust manifold on the left side of my car cracked completely in half. My father is pretty handy with cars but this project was almost too much for him. It was extremely difficult for him to get to the manifold and get the bolts out because everything is really close under the hood and there is not alot of room to work especially if you do not have the right tools. I'm not sure if everything is the same in a 95 but the manifold on the left side is almost impossible to get to unless you have the right tools.
