How do you replace the exhaust manifolds for the 1995 Nissan V6 Pathfinder on both sides and is this something that can be done by someone handy?

I have a 1996 pathfinder and the exhaust manifold on the left side of my car cracked completely in half. My father is pretty handy with cars but this project was almost too much for him. It was extremely difficult for him to get to the manifold and get the bolts out because everything is really close under the hood and there is not alot of room to work especially if you do not have the right tools. I'm not sure if everything is the same in a 95 but the manifold on the left side is almost impossible to get to unless you have the right tools.
