Loosen the clamps and carefully twist the hose where it connects to the heater core. If you are wanting to bypass the heater core, just run one of the hoses between the two places on the motor where they connect or put a short piece of pipe between the two hoses.
This question is a bit confusing. It needs more information. If it involves installing a new heater core, you will really need a good repair manual because this job gets to be quite involved, and is not one that I would recommend for the average do-it-yourselfer. EITHER CONNECT TOGETHER THE HEATER HOSES THAT GO 2 THE HEATER CORE WITH A 1/2OR3/4INCH STRAIGHT PIECE OF PIPE ORCONNECTOR - OR INSTALL 2 BLOCK OFF PLUGS WHERE THE HEATER HOSES USED 2 B CONNECTED ON THE ENGINE.
the heater core, heater core hoses or heater control valve is leaking
The heater coil and a heater core is the same thing. Hot water circulates from the engine and through the heater core then back to engine generating heat for your heater system.
The heater core can be flushed out and hopefully be unclogged. A water hose can be hooked to the heater core hoses, and water flushed through to clean the core out.
The heater core is located in the dash ,or should I say in the heater /ac plenum if you chase out the heater hoses from under the hood you'll get a general idea where it is located.
You will see 2 heater hoses connected to the firewall. These are the inlet & outlet hoses going to the heater core. Disconnect them and then connect them together with a coupler. This will bypass the heater core.
unscrew the plastics piece under the glove box right above where your feet would be and the heater coil is in there. you will have to disconnect the hoses from under the hood right in front of the passenger side. there are only 2 hoses connected to it. then just put in a new heater coil and reattach the hoses and screw it back up. all done.
Disconnect both heater hoses from heater core and connect them together
To replace the heater coil on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, first disconnect the battery and drain the coolant. Remove the dashboard and the HVAC unit to access the heater core, which is typically located behind the glove compartment. Disconnect the hoses and any electrical connections, then unbolt the heater core from its housing. Install the new heater core, reassemble the HVAC unit, reconnect the hoses, refill the coolant, and finally, reattach the dashboard.
To replace the heater coil in a 1989 Chrysler New Yorker, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Depends on the vehicle and somtimes engine size. B Clear.

To temporarily disconnect the heater in your 1987 Porsche 944, locate the heater control lever inside the cabin and set it to the off position. Next, you can access the heater hoses in the engine compartment, typically found near the firewall. Carefully clamp or disconnect the hoses leading to the heater core to prevent coolant flow. Ensure to monitor any coolant leaks and replace any disconnected hoses when you're ready to restore the heater function.
To replace the heater hoses in a 2000 VW Beetle TDI, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Then, locate the heater hoses on the engine bay, typically running from the engine to the heater core. Use pliers to remove the clamps and disconnect the old hoses. Finally, install the new hoses, secure them with clamps, and reconnect the battery, checking for leaks before starting the engine.
To disconnect the coolant hoses from the heater core supply line on a Saturn, first, ensure the engine is cool and the vehicle is parked on a level surface. Locate the heater core hoses, which are typically found on the passenger side of the engine bay. Use pliers to loosen the hose clamps, then gently twist and pull the hoses off the heater core fittings. Be prepared for some coolant spillage, so have a container ready to catch any fluid that may leak out.
