There are 2 methods i know of:
tools:
sheath / pocket knife
(tin snips)
(hammer)
materials:
hazel wand about the similar diameter to your index finger (or thumb if you have small hands)
rubber-bands
(tin can)
(tacks / small nails)
They both use a short length of hazel (or similar) wand, approx. 6 cm long, which is split in half down the grain. green wood is easier to work with and it advisable to remove the bark, to avoid tannin staining.
first method:
Each side is then shaved, so that the middle is wider then each end.
These half's are then re-secured back together by a rubber-band, wound several times round.
second method was used by the old gypsies:
Only one end of each is shaved to a taper, the half's are put back together so a V shape is created.
They are then secured back together using strip of old tin can and a short tack.
sorry i don't have any pics, but I'm sure a short Google will reveal something of interest

It helped us make clothes faster.
It is perfectly legal for Walmart to make their employees pay for their work clothes, even if it is a uniform. Nobody buys me work clothes. I have to pay for them out of my salary.
Yes, wooden is an adjective, a word that describes a noun. Example: a wooden box.
Clothes-pegs (or clothespins) are small wooden or plastic clips designed to hang clothes up for drying. The clothes are normally fastened with the peg to a clothes line or rack.
A peg can refer to a wooden or metal pin used to fasten or support things, such as hanging up clothes or securing tents. In finance, a peg can also refer to a strategy where a country's currency is fixed to a specific value or rate.

DOWEL
The wooden peg board game, also known as peg solitaire, has a simple objective: to remove all but one peg from the board by jumping over them with another peg. The rules are that you can only move a peg by jumping over another peg into an empty space, and the peg that is jumped over is removed from the board. The game is won when only one peg remains on the board.
bacuse they have lost a leg and got a wooden peg one!xx
It depends what the peg is made of. Mine are mostly plastic or wood, which are insulators. However, many have metal springs, and metals conduct.
The clothes peg was invented by David M. Smith in 1853. It was designed to securely hold clothing on a clothes line while drying.
