If you want the paint to last mix some acrylic medium in with the wet dirt. The dirt should be strained and washed first to reduce the chance of disease. There are allot of artist selling mud paintings as a gimmick that do not make it right so the paint doesn`t last. If you are buying one please get a guarantee for the seller that the paint will last.
