the vast majority of trojans propagate in the temp directory of the user, so the most effective way is to get to and empty the temp directories of every user of the PC using pure dos (NOT safe mode with dos prompt; viruses can and do run while the PC is in safe mode) reboot using F8 while in boot strap, and select RECOVERY CONSOLE! that is pure dos.
