Sharpies are the leading permanent marker brand! if you use Clorox to try to remove it on a dry erase board, it will simply get discolored. Try nail polish remover. Quote. Don't listen to this person. He is wrong you asked what is the most permanent marker. The most permanent would be sharpie. if it's in sharpie perment marker......if its perspex or acrylic plastic it'll just rub offf.nail polish remover gets sharpie off quite wellhope this is of some use...x

Alcohol works fine anytime I want to remove permanent marker-- poke your finger into a rag and wet with alcohol and begin rubbing the marker ink.

bleach or hard scrubbing um, try this, put dry erase marker on top of the permanent marker and erase it with a tissue
I would try fingernail polish remover. That will take permanent marker off of almost anything.
