In the fuse box. Take the bolts and wiring loose from the rear fo the radio under the dash. Then pull off the knobs and remove the nuts under there and work it out .

The bulb behind the temperature control knob in a 2002 Honda CRV can be changed by removing the temperature control panel. First remove the knobs then take the front plate off. This is held on by screws that need an Allen Wrench. The bulb can then be accessed and changed.
Pull straight out, they are friction knobs with flat sides, just like the poles the slide onto.
Disconnect negative terminal from battery. Pry the plastic trim that goes around the radio and the three HVAC control knobs (Blower, Temperature Control and A/C-Heat Select.) Remove the knob from the stem of the temperature control switch. Four screws hold this assembly to the dash framework - remove using 7mm socket on the two top screws and a small 7mm open or closed end wrench (a 9/32" will also work.) Once the 4 screws are removed there is enough of room to unplug the 3 wire cable to the temperature control switch. Remove the one screw with the open or closed end 7mm wrench. The switch can now be removed from the assembly.

Pull knobs off for air and fan control. Remove 2 screws. Gently work cover off. To remove radio: remove 4 screws then pull radio straight out. Unclip radio wiring harness and antenna wire.
In a 1997 Jeep Wrangler, the relay switch for the heater blower and motor is located behind the dash. It will be directly behind the HVAC knobs behind the dashboard.
Remove the knobs, remove the dash panel, and replace the switch.
