this doesnt tell you exactly but it gets you started. if you are uncomfortable with this buy a Haynes Book for Advance Auto or Pep Boys for 20$
should not have a filler bolt should just fill straight thru the dipstick pipe on transmission
If automatic, change fluid and filter. If manual, need clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. If none of these work then, you are in for a real treat moneywise.
No.. They really have nothing in common. A speed sensor sends a signal from your transmission that is shown on your gauge in the dash. That is all the sensor does- it has nothing to do to my knowledge with the shifting functions
Left Socialist Accord was created in 1989.
The 4 cylinder will get 24 city, 34 highway, and 28 combined. The V6 will get 21 city, 34 highway, and 25 combined. I have found that most Accords will beat this mileage if driven correctly.
Does the 1996 Honda Accord have power bands in the automatic transmission?
No it will not interchange. You need an Accord transmission from a 1990-1993.
Can you change a automatic to a 5 speed Honda Accord 1990
yes, as long as the 1992 accord is also an automatic
You have to replace the entire instrument cluster.
Easy. I have an 87 Accord, so it's probably similar. First you find the speedometer cable that runs across the top of your engine and into the side of the transmission. On the other end it enters the fire wall right where the instrument cluster is. You will unclip the end that is attached to the transmission and pull the cable out. In my case, the broken end was at the other end by the instrument cluster. You have to just start taking out screws to get take out the instrument cluster. Once you get that out, the cable simply clips in there as well. Viola, replace the cable. Easy. I have an 87 Accord, so it's probably similar. i just bought a cluster for a 1966 honda accord but now the speed is ten miles off is there a way to adjust it
No it does not.
There are several things that can cause your Honda Accord station wagon automatic transmission not to shift down. The most common cause is low transmission fluid.
A 1993 Honda Accord automatic transmission requires 2.5 quarts of fluid.
If automatic usually inside the transmission pan
Through where the transmission dip stick tube.
