You use a 35mm enlarger to project the light on to the ''bed'' where you place your photographic paper.

Then run the paper through developer, stop and fix. Make sure you put the paper in a cold water-bath for minimum of 5 minutes or until the smell of fix has gone. The fix will erode the image and it wont last as long..

When invented roll film?

George Eastman marketed the first roll of flexible photographic film, Eastman Negative Paper, in 1884 which was a coating on a paper base. It was called "stripping film" because the paper backing had to be stripped off during processing. Eastman American Film was introduced in 1885, the first transparent photographic film, "celluloid film" or "nitrate film". Reverend Hannibal Goodwin invented a roll film with a transparent backing that was more flexible and the Eastman company acquired this film in 1889.

Yes it does. This is part of the fundamental process that takes the toner powder and adheres it to the paper. Basically the printer uses positive and negative charges to transfer the toner onto the paper and then uses heat and pressure to make it stick.

What is photographic developer used for?

There are two basic kinds of developers: film, and paper. You "develop" exposed film into a negative through a developer bath. Then you typically print the negative (either directly onto paper as a proof, or to an enlarged size - 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, etc. with an enlarger, by exposing the paper to light that is filtered through the negative, creating the positive that you then "develop" in a developer bath. Once the film and/or paper is developed, you then rise off the developer in a water bath and to stop any residual continuing development then put the film or paper into a "fixer" bath, and then water to eliminate the fixer, and then to dry. Color film and paper require more complicated, but similar processes. Old fashioned X-ray film is similar. There are many different manufacturers and formulas, that can vary with the kinds of film and paper you use. ******** To the point of the question: developer acts chemically on the "latent" image that cannot be seen until the silver salts (silver halide crystals) sensitized by light are converted to black metallic silver. The developer can distinguish between crystals that were and were not exposed (sensitized) to light.

What is transfer paper used for?

Transfer paper is a special type of transfer paper. The main use for transfer paper is on clothing/fabric. You simply print a picture off your computer onto the transfer paper and then you put the picture on the material.
