All you need to do is check the tire pressure on all 5 tires, if it is correct then the light will turn off. Probably your problem is the spare tire. You can remove the spare tire by taking off the little plastic cap under the compartment in the trunk, towards the right side, very close to the back of the car. There is a tool to turn the nut that you will find under the round plastic cap (approx 3") and the spare tire will lower to the ground. I've had the TMPS turn on my car twice and it was always the spare tire. IMPORTANT: Make sure you are not missing the aluminum tire valve caps. Plastic replacements (or none) will cause the warning light to come on.
it means that you have a bulb out somewhere on your truck.... IE backup light, brake light, turn signal, running light.. etc etc..
hi,,does any one know how to change the 2004 sienna headlight low beam light bulb? the high beam can be open turn it counterclockwise,,but can't open on the low beam,
Double check the wiring diagrams for your vehicle but it's probable the flashers and signals use the same relay to function. The wiring for your flashers will go through the hazard switch which is where the malfunction is. If you replace the switch your problem should be solved.
The light for the glove compartment on a 2001 4Runner is in the unit itself. When the glove box is opened the light will turn on.
I have a 2004 Impala SS. I currently have a aftermarket deck, the only other way to turn off the low tire pressure light is either 1) bringing it into the dealer, or 2) turn your key to the accessories position, turn your lights on and off three to five times, and it should have shut off your low tire pressure light.
turn on key and depress the reset button. let tire light flash 3 times and turn it off. this resets the 98/99 sienna. it may also work on the forerunner
Turn the 4Runner on, make sure that you are looking at the "odometer" miles and not the "Trip" miles. Turn the 4Runner off, hold the "reset" button, turn the 4Runner On and the "MAINT" light will blink 3 times. Release the "reset" button and the light will turn off. This worked great for me but the light flashed 5 times then went off. 2007 SR5 4WD 16,000 miles recently purchased from dealer hopefully there is nothing else wrong/ FYI the manual told me that the maint light is for oil change.
Reset the light by following the procedure below: 1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position. 2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset button.
Correct the tire pressure.
The light will remain on if one of the tires has low air or if one of the tire sensors is bad. Make sure all of the tires have the proper amount of air, if they do then take it to a tire shop and to replace the bad sensor.
Check the spare tire sensor.
Have you checked the fuses or bulbs?
The light should turn off after the tire(s) is inflated
A Lexus ES 350 tire pressure light will reset on its own. Tire pressure lights will turn off when the tire is at the proper pressure.
either the wiring needs to be redone, or the light bulb burnt out.
