How do you unblock the path to cinnabar island in Pokemon soulsilver?

you don't ever get there
That answer is not true. You will get to Cinnabar. You need to be done with the Johto region and six of the eight Kanto gym leaders. You also need the move surf, and maybe other HM moves, but I'm not sure. You need to have strong electric types (for trainers and wild Pokemon on the way, because you will be in water, and there are bird keepers, too) and strong water types (for the gym; Blane has fire, rock, and ground types). Also, just strong Pokemon in general work, but try using Pokemon or move type advantages.

∙ 12y agoIf you'r on route 19 (from Fuchsia) with the construction workers It's the wrong way for now. To get there you have to go to route 21 (from pallet town) and surf there instead. Once you get to Cinnabar you can surf on route 20 to get to the seafoam island. Also in order to go anywhere on Cinnabar you need to know the move rock climb. Good luck fellow Pokemon player! XD

∙ 12y agoTo get to Cinnabar Island, you just have to use surf at the bottom of Pallet Town. Just keep going south and eventually you will end up in Cinnabar Island.
(Note: There are a lot of trainers.)
