If you knew that you'd have to remove it for work or something so soon after getting it, you shouldn't have gotten it at all. Go to your piercer and see if they can get you some clear glass retainers instead.

Make sure it is a brand name. The vacuum sealers that are not brand name tend to leak. You want to make sure the sealer closes bags completely so that not any air can get in.

Everyone is different, if the piercing still looks brand new (e.g; red, swollen) then you shouldn't take it out. But techically it all depends on the piercing itself.
