2 in each side of the heart but
4 of them in all I will list them below
1 left ventricles
2 right ventricles
3 left atria
4 right atria
The heart has four chambers. There are two types of chambers, the atria and the ventricles. There are a pair of each on the right and left side. Human (mammal) hearts have 4, reptiles tend to 3, and some organisms go all the way down to one.
Septum
The ventricles. These are the two lower chambers, one on each side. The ride ventricle pushes blood to the lungs, for oxygenation and the left ventricle pumps the oxygenated blood through the body.
There is an aorta and a ventricle on each side of the heart.
Well it depend from the amphibian! The frog heart has 3 chambers: two atria and a single ventricle. The lizards have a muscular septum which partially divides the ventricle.
Chambers
Yes, there are four chambers in the heart.

Oxygenated blood,
Septum
The heart is made up of four chambers. The two upper chambers are called atrium and the two lower chambers are called ventricles. The right side of the heart pumps blood to the lungs and exchanges carbon dioxide for oxygen, then returns to the left side of the heart, where the oxygenated blood is pumped back to the body. This cycle repeats endlessly. Here is a link for a picture of the anatomy of the heart, you will probably have to copy and paste:http://www.answers.com/heart?gwp=11&ver=2.4.0.651&method=3
This is because one side (the left) is for pumping blood from the heart to the lungs, where it receives oxygen. This blood is then pumped to the rest of the body through the other side of the heart (right) where the oxygen nourishes the rest of the body. This blood then returns to the left side of the heart, to be pumped to the lungs to receive more oxygen and so on. Note that each side of the heart (right and left) also contains two chambers - an atrium and a ventricle (so the heart is made of four chambers in total). Blood entering the heart passes into the atrium, then on to the ventricle, and then on out of the heart.
The heart is composed of four chambers - ONE of each: right atrium, RIGHT VENTRICLE, left atrium and left ventricle.
The ventricles. These are the two lower chambers, one on each side. The ride ventricle pushes blood to the lungs, for oxygenation and the left ventricle pumps the oxygenated blood through the body.
The heart has 4 chambers. The "collecting chamber of the heart", or the atria , is the two chambers that are located above the other two chambers. It carries the responsibility in helping to pump the blood out of the chambers and making sure no blood pumps back in.
There is an aorta and a ventricle on each side of the heart.
