The solunoid is located on the starter, on the lower front of the engine located between the engine and radiator. Some of the remote starter kits come with a wiring harness that requires that you remove the small wire from the starter, and connect this wire to the kit, most require that you install the start wire to this connection. Most of the better Kits accomplish this by opening the connector under the dashboard, near the steering column, that connects to the ignition switch, and plugs an inline connector in between the OEM connectors, This allows the computer to operate normally during remote opperation. If this is not helpful, please let me know the manufacturer of the Kit, and the model number of the kit, and I will get you more precise information.
