All the bulbs should be the same brightness because they are all receiving the same voltage, which would be half the voltage of the original source. To visualize why this is the case, imagine the electrons moving through the circuit. The electrons can take two paths through the circuit but either way they have to pass through two light bulbs. The two bulbs in parallel may, however, appear slightly dimmer because the current is split between them and restricted by the third bulb.

Assume that the resistance of all light bulbs are equal. The current through the light bulbs in parallel will be 1/2 that through the one in series as it is split equally between the two of them. The intensity of each light bulb is proportional to the power through each bulb. Power is I2R. So, if the total current is 1 amp the power through the series light bulb is R, where the power through the parallel light bulbs will be 1/4R. Therefore the intensity of the parallel bulbs will be 1/4 the light bulb in series.

How do you calculate the relative intensity of fluorescence?

The relative intensity of fluorescence can be calculated by dividing the fluorescence intensity of the sample of interest by the fluorescence intensity of a reference standard under the same conditions. This ratio provides a measure of the relative fluorescence properties of the sample compared to the reference standard.

What is relative intensity?

Relative intensity refers to the level of effort or exertion required to perform an activity, relative to an individual's maximum capacity. It is often used in exercise science to prescribe and monitor the intensity of workouts based on a percentage of an individual's maximum effort. Understanding relative intensity helps tailor training programs to achieve specific fitness goals.

What is Relative Fluorescence Intensity?

Relative fluorescence intensity is a measure of the amount of fluorescence emitted by a sample compared to a reference sample. It is often used in fluorescence spectroscopy to quantify the fluorescence signal from a sample relative to a standard for comparison and analysis.

What is the relative intensity of 130 decibels?

At 130 decibels, the relative intensity would be very high. It is considered to be extremely loud and can cause immediate damage to hearing. Exposure to sound at this intensity level for prolonged periods can lead to hearing loss.

The relative purity of a color is referred to as?

The relative purity of a color is referred to as its saturation. Saturation describes the intensity or vividness of a color, ranging from pure color (fully saturated) to mixed with gray (desaturated).

What key will you be in if you start in C major go the parallel minor then go to its relative major then to its parallel minor then its enharmonic equivalent?

Start in C major, parallel minor is C minor, relative major is E-flat major, parallel minor is E-flat minor, enharmonic respelling is D-sharp minor (which has 6 sharps).

What are the advantages of USB ports relative to parallel and serial ports?

The serial and parallel ports are slow, have limited expandability and don't carry their own charge of electricity.these ports work fine for connecting Printers, Mice and keyboards to PC but all these device will perform better if connected to a USB port
