Absolutely not, they are totally different cultures therefore their beliefs, songs, dance, art etc are all different. Australian indigenous paintings are often based around song lines, land and totem animals, they use dots to produce painting's which tell their stories. New Zealand Maori have a completely different cultural background, their art is based on feelings, emotions, history, legends and land, capturing the spirit of the Maori they tend to use wood, stone carving and weaving, any paining will capture the above in the traditional colours and designs (often based on plants and nature).
