∙ 15y agoThe problem is not the starter. The battery is either not holding or not receiving enough charge. Problem could be (1) loose alternator beltl (2) loose/corroded battery cable(s); (3) dead cell(s) in the battery; (4) bad alternator.

Most likely the battery is flat. Have you left the radio or any lights on overnight?
take it to autozone they test for free failing that try this pre-90's car? unplug the battery while running if the engine dies it's probably a bad alternator (or the alternator is too small for the electrical load of the vehicle) after 90's? hook a multimeter to the battery while engine is running the voltage should be between 13.5 and 15.5 volts depending on engine rpm
A bad battery terminal(s) connection, bad ground, bad ignition switch, bad starter.
12v in cars. Can be 24v in lorrys. 6v cars were phased out in the 50's.
The battery of the s80 including 2006 model year, is in the trunk. You can use any automatic 12v charger.
There is no answer to this question. It could be anywhere between 2.5V and 12V. If you connected them in series the answer would be 20.5V, in parallel the higher voltage battery will discharge into the lower rated cells, the resultant voltage is dependent upon the internal resistance of each of the batteries. In practice you wouldn't do this, so it's either a mistake or trick question. www.powerinspired.co.uk
Most all vehicles built sense the mid 1950's use a 12 volt battery. Before that they were using a 6 volt battery.
Many digital cameras use a 6V battery. They're also used in blood-glucose meters, blood pressure cuffs, flashlights, and lanterns.
