Is this a good team ampharos lapras meganium rapidash nidoking and lugia?

I would say its good, but I don't know their moves so that would be helpful
Meganium, to me, is bad, there is something called the chicorita effect and it makes grass types bad, I would suggest getting a dragon type such as dragonite, but you can keep meganium if you'd like.

It depends on what you like. Both are very powerful Water type Pokemon. Lapras has a very high HP stat whereas Vaporeon has a high HP stat and a high Special Attack stat. They both have the ability Water absorb. Water Absorb is great is battling other water type Pokemon. Vaporeon continues to learn attacks until level 71, but Lapras stops learning attacks at level 55. It depends on what you like.

yes, in the union cave every Friday. Make sure you save before attempting to catch a lapras. I would suggest catching a Scyther with false swipe and a paras with the move spore. (Scyther can be caught in the National Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays but it will take a while and you can catch a paras in llex forest, except in the afternoon which is between 10am-8pm) Sorry if you already knew this ;)
