the left and right atria or atrium are the upper half as for the lower half the left and right ventricles. the atria fill with blood and then dump the blood in the ventricles. the left side of the heart beats a little quicker than the right side, but it happens so fast that it is barely noticable.

What Heart valves are found between the upper and lower chambers of the heart compare them also.?

Upper chambers of heart are the left and right atrium Lower are the left and right ventrical atrioventricular valves separate the two. Bicuspid (mitrial) valve separates the left atrium/ventrical and the tricuspid separates the right atrium/ventrical.

Where else in the circulatory system are valves found?

Valves can be found in the heart. They sit between the Atria and the Ventricles and help aid cardiovascular activity.

What part of the heart acts like doors that control blood flow?

The four valves in the heart are: * the two semi-lunar valves - one at the stem of the aorta, the other is found at the trunk of the pulmonary artery. * The tricuspid valve is on the right-hand side of the heart. * The bicuspid valve is on the left side of the heart.

How does a cow's or pig's heart compare with human heart?

one can be located within a pig whilst the other is more commonly found inside humans. great answer huh

What are the valves found between the lower and upper chambers of the rights and left side of the heart?

On the right sie of the heart, there is a right atrium and right ventricle that are separated by the tricuspid valve or Atrioventricular valve. The left atrium and left ventricle are separated by the bicuspid or mitral valve.

Where can valves be found other than the heart?

Valves can be found in the heart aswell as the veins

Where in the circulatory system are valves?

Valves are found in the heart and in some veins.

What are the differences between Presto and Schrader valves used in bicycle tires?

Presto valves are thinner and longer than Schrader valves, which are wider and shorter. Presto valves require a special pump attachment, while Schrader valves can be inflated with a regular pump. Presto valves are commonly found on road bikes, while Schrader valves are more common on mountain bikes.

What are the main differences between presta and schrader valves, and which one is more suitable for my bike?

The main differences between presta and schrader valves are their size, design, and the type of pump they require. Presta valves are thinner and have a built-in valve cap, while schrader valves are wider and have a spring-loaded valve core. Presta valves are more common on road bikes and high-performance bicycles, while schrader valves are typically found on mountain bikes and children's bikes. The choice between the two valves depends on your bike's rim compatibility and personal preference.

Do capillaries have non return valves?

No, capillaries do not have non-return valves. Non-return valves are found in veins to prevent blood from flowing backwards. Capillaries function to allow the exchange of nutrients and waste products between blood and tissues.
