It is not likely to get pregnant a few days after the menstral cycle ends, this actually is called the 'Rythym method'. The purpose of the shedding of the uterus (period) is that an egg did not get fertilzed, so it all goes away, and then when the shedding process ends, it starts all over again. That is why it is called a cycle, The uterus begins creating a new lining for hopes of an egg getting fertilized. From the ending of one shedding (period) til the new egg drops from the ovary, it is going to take more than two days, I would guess more like 12 or more days. I am the product of the rythym method. I would Google it and you will get more precises info on it.
