Connect the positive terminal of the dead battery to the positive terminal of the charged battery using jumper cables, then connect the negative terminal of the charged battery to a grounded metal part of the dead bike. Start the working motorcycle or jump starter, and after a few minutes, attempt to start the ZX-12R. Once it starts, disconnect the cables in reverse order and let the bike run for a while to recharge its battery.
