his father? His father actually had nothing to do with his inspiring to be an artist. Michelangelo's father was actually extremely upset by his sons decision, which is why he sent Michelangelo to live with a stone worker's family after his wife's death. It was more of Michelangelo's nature and artistic ability that eventually led his decision to become a full fledged artist.
He died in 1885.
Lonrenzo de Magnificent, the head of Medici, discovered Michelangelo when he was only 14. They saw a sculpture he made when he was a painter's apprentice. Lorenzo invitied Michelangelo to live in the palace with him. The Medici was the most powerful family in Florence and were great patrons of art.
After his death he inspired the movement called Expressionism, e.g. Henri Matisse.
Ikemefuna called Okonkwo father. It would be unnatural for a father to kill his son. The boy was also affectionate towards Okonkwo, and it would be like a betrayal.
Poor judgement, he wasnt there to take care of her
No, Raphael Sanzio did not precede Giovanni Santi in death. Giovanni Santi, who was Raphael's father, died in 1494, while Raphael himself passed away later, in 1520. Therefore, Giovanni Santi died before his son.
Without a doubt, don Giovanni. Written after the death of his father.
Don Giovanni was premiered five months after Mozart's father's death. The play Amadeus made a big deal of this, no doubt the death affected Mozart very deeply. A father is killed right at the start of the opera. The murdered father later comes and carries Don Giovanni off to hell. All very Freudian stuff. The oppressive Leopold standing over his son, never letting him be his own man. And lo and behold Mozart dies three and a half years after his dad. All very depressing. And sad. Was Leopold poisoned? maybe we should start the rumour.
