There are no advantages to using polyurethane paint, the best paint to use is latex, because of it's ease of use, clean-up and durability I've used polyurethanes on concrete floors in a high traffic area, but I agree they're not appropriate for houses.

What are the advantages of synthesised polyurethane over recycled polyurethanes?

adavantages include these among others: 1 synthesised polyurethane is unalloyed and homogeneous 2 raw materials can be analysed and modified before use but in recycled polyurethane, it is a reconstituted form of polyurethane where the constituents (formulation) of the major raw materials can not be easily determined 3 ease of production (one shot using automated machines) but the recycled polyurehanes involes sorting, grinding, bonding and some other complicated methods of processing 4 synthesised polyurethane has second hand value as it can be recycled but in recycled polyurethane, this may not be economically viable. Can you spray latex house paint using a automotive spraygun and if so how do you go about doing so thanks?

You probably can but it would have to be thinned down as the orifice for auto paint guns is a lot smaller than for house paint. Would be better to purchase a spryer for this readon. If you are intent on using a automotve paint gun the needle assembly would have to be as large as you can get and the paint still would have to be thinned to get it to flow

Let Your Work Dry Before Trying To Fix Blemishes?

Working with the amazing synthetic material known as polyurethane can be a fun and easy way to rejuvenate the appearance of old and worn-down furniture. Polyurethane is typically applied using a paint brush and often goes onto wood smoothly and easily. In some instances, too much polyurethane will be laid down in one particular region, creating drips or high spots. Do not concern yourself with fixing the blemishes or slight inconsistencies until after the product has dried. At that point, you will be able to slice off the excess polyurethane quickly and easily using the edge of a razor blade.
