first choose the color then rub down whole car to ruff up paint surface, then if there are any dents, take it back to bare metal and using auto putty, fill dents and holes. smooth off and sand to nice finish now you get to spray undercoat on car. when that has dries you then get to apply color coat. if you havent spray painted before , get some one who has so as you get good finish
First you need to get a pressure washer and wash down the entire outside of home. The next day you will need to use a scraper or putty knife and scrape off all old loose peeling paint or anything chipped, then you put on a good quality primer, I recommend Kilz 2, its is latex as well. Primer all spots of bare wood. Then paint from top to bottom. Windows I always left until last, due to fact they are so slow to paint.
I do all my painting at home and normally you'd need a paint both with fans and good ventilation. I painted my pick up last year in pieces. I like to take each piece off like fenders' doors, hood Ect. (Makes for a much nicer finish). Started with the front fenders and i like to end with the hood. Good luck. Think Safe

b), with the help of a Sand Paper remove the old paint.
