you unlock more karts as you go along. each character has 3 karts. when you finish the game, with gold on every cup in 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc, you unlock all the characters and every one can use every kart. (even other characters karts). so, when you finish a cup with gold and then it says you unlocked all the karts clapclap for you!

This is an interesting question. I really think what you're trying to say is What are the cars in Mario Kart Wii. There are a lot of cars, but they are all grouped based on size. For example, the small characters have small karts and bikes, the medium characters have medium karts and bikes, and the large characters have large karts and bikes. I hope this answered your question, but just in case it didnt, the main kart in the game is the Standard Kart, and the main bike is the Standard Bike. Have a super day!
The high score would depend on which Mario Kart you are talking about. Also, in some of the Mario Karts, in Multiplayer mode, you can set how many races you want to do. In the Grand Prix on Mario Kart Wii, your maximam score that you can get in points is 60 points; 15 points per race. In Double Dash!!, you can get a Max Score of 40 points. Most every Mario Kart has a Max Score of 40 points. In Mario Kart Wii, if you set the races to 25, your Max Score (let's say you got 1st every time) would be 375 points. It all depends on how many races and which Mario Kart you are referring to.
Mario Kart Double Dash is the fourth game of the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart as well as all Mario games are developed by Nintendo. Mario Kart Double Dash is produced for the GameCube system.
