They believe it contradicts with that of Individual right. Thus the double standard.
Giving a job to a African-America simply because he is African-America is what they see as taking away from the individual because it should be on qualifications and have nothing to do with color of the skin.
Back in the day it was an issue of serious proportions and although it could still happen today, lawyers and the law stand up for "black rights" not politicians, the rights are being defended when needed and also there are opportunities and un-adable opportunities for everyone and there are so many out there, republican don't feel it is that big of an issue today.
Every race, creed, gender, or what not has someone that messes with that of another race, creed, gender and today it seems like everyone is in the ball park not just blacks and whites.

Obviously. You cant catorgize morals with a political party. Some republicans might be for animal rights and some against. Same with any other party.
There was no Republican Party per se at the time of the adoption of the Bill of Rights; the two parties at the time were the Federalists and the Democratic Republicans. Federalists believed in a strong centralized government, while Democratic Republicans believed in a weaker central government. The Bill of rights grew out of a tacit agreement between the two parties that Democratic Republicans would support the new constitution provided it was subsequently amended to expressly include provisions to protect certain individual rights; these were the first ten amendments to the constitution and became comonly known as the Bill of Rights.
Republicans are considered more conservative than Democrats. However, there are liberal Republicans and conservative Democrats. The Republicans tend to favor less government when dealing with domestic problems, and individual and states' rights. Republicans tend to favor economic laws that regulate as little as possible. They tend to favor ways to help the states and local governments, and allow private charities to help individuals in need instead of federal programs. Republican tend to favor more defense spending and to be against funding for abortions. They favor enforcement of immigration laws and are against giving voting rights to illegal immigrants. They want to balance the budget and find a way to slowly reduce the national debt.
