I don't know what this question is asking. Are you talking about a lien. What are you trying to do that the two different banks are indicating this?
Check your: Distributor cap and rotor (Mr2 turbo's are well known for their ability to eat distributor caps alive) Spark plugs (look for signs of detonation, burning oil, running rich/lean) If you have detonation, turn down the boost or check your timing. If you are burning oil, check your piston rings. If you are running rich/lean, take off any aftermarket blow-off valve, and replace it with the stock by-pass valve. Also, check your MAF. MAF Sensor.
Lean is a word for thin or to stand at a slant. The horse appeared to lean to be in good health. Bob was concerned about the lean in the walls of the barn.
o2 sensors are located just below the manifold system...there are two of them one on each side..this is usually a job for someone with elastic arms and fingers. One is easily accessible and the other needs some wrangling to reconnect it. You should pull the codes first before replacing these to know which bank is causing the issue e.g. left bank lean right bank rich etc.
No, generally if they lean to one side it's because whoever hung them couldn't be bothered to do it correctly.
lean side to side and back to back
Bank 2 running too lean.
Fuel system lean bank number 2Fuel system lean bank number 2
P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)
If one bank is running lean it usually means that you have a vacuum leak somewhere on that side. Check for broken hoses that connect to that side or possibly broken gaskets. changed all hoses what gasket
How to fix bank 1to lean on a 3100 v6
Fuel system running lean.
Just had this problem. I replaced the oxygen sensor and it appears to be running fine.
That code is telling you that bank two is running too lean. For some reason the fuel mixture is too lean. Possibly an o2 sensor is malfunctioning.
Trouble code P0171 means: Fuel System Too Lean - Bank 1
lean bank 1 lean bank 2 fuel trim limits reached
it is your 02 sensor/ bank one usally means the one before your cat. convertor "Lean Bank One" means that the first bank of cylinders, or 3 cylinders on your V6, are not getting enough fuel to mix with the air, hence the term "lean". This is usually solved by cleaning the fuel injectors, and this is most likely your problem, because if the fuel filter or pump were clogged you would have gotten a code of "Lean Bank One" and "Lean Bank Two". It is possible it could have something to do with your oxygen sensor, and the first answer mentioned, because this sensor measures exhaust gas and sends a voltage signal to the computer telling it how rich or lean the engine is running.
