Square Enix, the creators of Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantast,etc., Already made a Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. But, because it was only for Game Boy Advance, they remade it for PlayStation 2 and called it Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. :D

Square Enix Wanted to remake Chain of memories for game boy so Re chain of memories is basically just Chain of memories just on PlayStation 2 hence why the ''re'' is there.
